Job descriptions:
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Finance Business Partner plays an essential role in driving Euroconsumers’ strategic transformation by building robust financial reporting structures, modern budgeting processes, and performance-oriented steering tools.
This role acts as a key business partner to Group Management, Country Managers, and Local finance Managers, ensuring that financial insights shape strategic decisions, operational efficiency, and long-term growth across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Financial Steering
- Provide strong financial support in the roll-out of Euroconsumers’ renewed strategy.
- Lead the long-term planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the entire Organization.
- Assess profitability across business activities and propose strategic opportunities, quick wins, and efficiency gains.
- Contribute to the definition of new KPIs adapted to the evolving business model.
Business Partnering
- Support Group departments and Country teams in achieving their financial targets.
- Build trust-based, collaborative relationships with Local finance Managers and business leaders.
- Challenge assumptions constructively and ensure corrective actions on budget deviations.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Develop and professionalize management reporting tools that support strategic execution and monitor financials performance.
- Implement a tailor-made KPI framework aligned with the new business model.
- Evaluate performance, compare results against budget, and prepare clear insights for decision-making.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Contribute to the future selection and implementation of BI and analytical tools.
Finance Function Development
- Support the CFO in strengthening and modernizing the finance function.
- Standardize and optimize processes, structures, and procedures for operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Local finance Managers to elevate financial support capabilities.
- Communicate effectively across the organisation regarding financial initiatives and expectations.
Qualifications
- You have a master’s degree in economics, Finance or related field;
- You have a relevant experience (at least 5-10 years) in Controlling or Auditing;
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and leading cross-functional projects;
- Strong analytical and critical mindset, able to translate complexity into actionable insights;
- Skilled in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis;
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
- Able to work with autonomy, adaptability, and resilience in a rapidly evolving environment.
