Dear,We purchased a table with 6 chairs from Dok Interiors XOON Ghent in January 2021 (we received it end of February 2021) . For the table we had 2 years of guarantee while for the chairs 3 years. In January 2023 we observed an issue with the surface of the table, that turned cloudy. We contacted the store and told us that we should address to the company H&H that makes the furniture. After many complaints, that we do not have anything to do with H&H but with Dok Interiors XOON Ghent who sold the table and gave us the guarantee, we managed to get an answer. They told us that we need to sand the table and apply a protection coat which we had already bought from the store and it is mentioned in the invoice. We sanded the table and applied the protection coat and then a stain came off the wood that doesn’t go away. We requested many times to have a specialist to explain us what this stain is and how we can neutralize it but they have no idea or any willingness to support us. The reply of the store is that we should address to the company that makes the furniture (H&H). At the same time we have noticed that we paid for a service (also indicated in the invoice) to make the chairs waterproof for 3 years. The chairs for more than 6 months are not waterproof anymore. The answer of the store is to contact the company that makes the spray (PROTEX) and complain.We have a lot of emails exchanged and pictures to prove the communication. The emails can be shared upon request.We are very disappointed with the way we are treated from Dok Interiors XOON Ghent and we cannot understand what is the purpose of having a guarantee if we cannot use it. It seems that the store manager does not know how to deal with the situation as he has no idea how we can claim our guarantee. The guarantee is from Dok Interiors XOON Ghent and not from any other company. This store was the direct supplier of our services and we have never been communicated that for any type of issues they won’t provide us any service after sale.
