Hello, I have been waiting for the parcel (ref. P04658387 and parcel no. 93831505552) to be delivered since 30/11/23. It has been in GLS depot since this date. On 01/12/23 the tracking says that it was not able to deliver due to anomaly. On 04/12/23 it says that is is out for delivery. Until today, 07/12/23, the tracking has not been updated, last entry 04/12/23 showing that it is out for delivery. I have contacted GLS multiple times by email and asked for a delivery date and updates - they have refused to give me any information, the replies are copy paste text, saying that they have large amount of packages, there are delays and they cannot give me any updates on possible delivery. I have tried multiple times to get new information, they simply refuse. In past, last 3 times a sender has chosen to deliver my parcel with GLS, they have ALWAYS delivered it to a parcel point without any attempt to deliver at home. I have paid for delivery at home every time. I have also filed multiple complaints with them - never anything else that copy paste robotic answer that there is nothing they can do. This is unacceptable service. I do not know what to do anymore, to receive my package, that is currently kept by GLS.

Hello Mss ZviedreI see that according to the contacts you had with customer service, they did not just make a printscreen but sent a request for a rapid delivery to your attention. They also have transfer your email address and your telephone number for further information if necessary.Regarding the overload of work on the depots, they try to make their best and drivers who deliver also trying to do their best as quickly as possible but they are not machines.I will forward your complaint to the delivery depot and ask them for mandatory delivery for this 08/12 without fail.RegardsChristine december 2023 11:19ainte - Parcel not delivered, no updates - (CPTBE01932837-15)

Dear Christine, all I have received from your customer service are the attached replies. They have never informed me about any actions they have taken, I have not received any “printscreen”, nor any rapid delivery requests. I don’t know where you see the information your provided to me, but it is incorrect - at least it was never communicated to me. I am sure you also see on your side that there is no update on my tracking since 4/12 (as visible on the print screen I attached to my complaint). And as for your drivers doing the best they can and not being the machines - I am sorry, but I resent the implication that I have not shown enough patience. I have been very patient, but as I wrote in my complaint, this is the 3rd time in a row when GLS driver has failed to deliver a package. I have filed a complaint before and never received any feedback and as you can see, there is no change in the service as well. First 2 times your driver took the package directly to the pick up point without even trying to deliver at home address. We were home both times waiting for the package. The pick up point he chose has very limited working hours, closed on weekends and it’s almost impossible to pick up the parcel if you have a full time job. It is also far from our house and unreachable by public transport. This is a systemic problem with GLS. I order a lot online and I can tell you that none of the other delivery companies have had problems like this.

Dear Mss ZviedreOur excuses for all these inconveniences.I understand that this can be boring.We process several thousand packages every day at our depots.In general, deliveries are made more easily.Unfortunately, it's true that at the moment we are facing very large quantities of packages to be delivered (black Friday, promotions and end-of-year holidays) and this can generate delays or less qualitative deliveries from our drivers.I would not have allowed myself to question your patience, the comparison with machines was just linked to the fact that the drivers have a very large number of packages to deliver in 1 day and this can lead to errors on their part.But once again I understand that when these problems arise with your shipment it is extremely frustrating.Your package has been loaded for delivery today and I have sent a mandatory delivery request.Have a nice dayRegardsChristine december 2023 13:12ainte - Parcel not delivered, no updates - (CPTBE01932837-15)

…. and yet again - nothing was delivered today. The tracking is still not updated, no package… I don’t understand what kind of enterprise are you… All the other companies had the same issues - black friday, promotions… and somehow they manage to do their job. But GLS… And now it’s weekend, of course no deliveries on Saturdays and Sundays. My package is still with you. Unbelievable. If it’s not delivered on Monday, I ask you to reimburse me the value of it. I am done waiting.

Dear Christine,yes, our package was delivered on Sunday and not on Friday, as promised. Luckily we were home and we caught the delivery person walking away from our house WITHOUT leaving our package in the safe place - which I clearly indicated in the preferences. He rang the doorbell and barely gave us time to open the door… Anyway, so much time wasted for this, it is a real pity that nobody in the GLS customer service could help, and that I had to turn to Test achats to solve this. It is not a normal situation.
