HI THIS IS THE 4TH COMPLAINT WE ARE ADDRESSING TO IBERIA REGARDING OUR 2 FLIGHTS FROM MADRID TO NEW YORK ON 23/12 /2021 !!please find in details below our complaints to IBERIA: Helo Madam,SirThis is already the 4th complaint and unfortunately,there is no reply from IBERIA (previous posted incidents complaints references : P20221104-30986436 20221115-31316651 and 20221111-31194200)!!To your knowledge,I and my wife are Gold Frequent Flyers with Qatar Airways (frequent flyers numbers 220174927 and 217378240). Briefly,My wife(Louise Marie Lahaye ticket 075-2399090791)and I (B Mesraoua ticket 075-2399090792)were going on vacation to New York on December 23,2021(2 tickets bought on 25/11/21 less than one year from our complaint today and from the first complaint on the 04/11/2022)However before flying and on the advice from a friend in New York,a Lawyer,we have cancelled the flight because of the catastrophic health situation in New York at that time !!Please find Mr Dobkin,our friend,name and phone number : DONALD S.DOBKIN ,LL.B., LL.M.Dobkin Law Group,P.C.P.O.Box 251903,West Bloomfield, MI 48325 Tel:(248) 683-7954. So Many days before the Flight in 2021 ,we have called IBERIA and Informed them that we are not going to travel and would like to have a refund they told us OK no problem we will send you a vouture but we never received that any vouture or any repply from IBERIA !! We have also called Iberia many times since then unsuccessfully !! Email FROM IBERIA ON 01 /12/2022 TO OUR COMPLAINT ON 28/11/22 through Test ACHATFor IBERIA RESPONSE please see attached document pdf from IBERIA ON 01/12/20221.1 OUR RESPONSE TO IBERIA ON 02/12/2022 for IBERIA EMAIL ON 01/12/2022Dear Madam ,Dear Sir,Good morning to you and thank you for your email !! This is regarding our 2 tickets (Booking REFERENCE J86CS)-First we are happy to get a new IBERIA email (attached ) on 01/12/22 to our many complaints (last one was on 28/11/22 ).Thanks to TEST ACHAT otherwise we have send at least 4 complaints and called IBERIA so many times unsuccessfully without any response from IBERIA (see below complaints references :P20221104-30986436 20221115-31316651 and 20221111-31194200)-Second we were equally deceived when we read your second email: to your knowledge , we have bought 2 tickets from IBERIA and each one costs EUR 1,697.93(Total for the 2 tickets= € 3395,86) and IBERIA is proposing a refund of the taxes only (EUR 202.93 X 2 =EUROS 405.86) which represents roughly 12% of the tickets cost IBERIA explanation for this is that "According to the fare conditions of your ticket, you are entitled to a full refund of the airport taxes" but IBERIA STOPPED SHORT OF GIVING ANY CONVINCING EXPLANATION for this action !! So ,what we want first is a full explanation for this from IBERIA we are also attaching the 2 tickets for this purpose !In addition, what is totally not comprehensible is that IBERIA has completely ignored our second proposal to solve this ticket issue(that was a second alternative we have proposed in our complaint to IBERIA through TEST ACHAT on 28/12/2022 )We have indeed proposed a voucher (refund) with the total amount of € 3395,86 for the 2 tickets or alternatively if IBERIA can REBOOK our return flights from Madrid To New York .They totally ignored the second request !!!!! IBERIA just rushed to refund 12% of the tickets costs and close this file !!In its email below (28/11/2022), IBERIA did not realize that it has extended the validity of your tickets until 12/01/2023 !! Our first complaint regarding this issue was on 04/11/22 well before the tickets expiry date(complaints references :P20221104-30986436 and 20221115-31316651 and 20221111-31194200) Beside IBERIA did not sent us the voucher, did not give any explanation how to use this extended voucher and did not give us the time to use it until 12/01/23 ! Also why IBERIA took the decision to refund the tickets before the extended expiry date they have proposed (12/01/2023)?
