I am submitting this complaint regarding Amazon’s handling of my order 407-0364666, and more broadly the way my case was managed by Amazon customer service.
The issue is not a delivery problem. The order was delivered, but the item itself was defective / not as expected, and I contacted Amazon customer service promptly to request assistance.
During multiple contacts with Amazon support, I was explicitly assured in writing that the issue would be resolved and that an appropriate solution (refund or replacement) would be provided. Based on these assurances, I followed Amazon’s instructions in good faith.
Despite these written confirmations, Amazon later refused to honour the solution that had been promised, without providing a clear or consistent explanation. Each new contact resulted in contradictory information, and my case was repeatedly closed without proper resolution.
This situation has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. As a consumer, I relied on Amazon’s written commitments, which were not respected. I consider this a failure of customer service and a breach of good-faith commercial practice.
I am therefore requesting that Amazon review this case properly and apply the solution that was originally confirmed to me in writing.
